WHY SODOMA LAW YORK?
Easy. You asked. We answered.
When Sodoma Law opened in 2008, my guiding vision was clear: to surround myself with tenacious, smart, compassionate legal professionals who really care about our clients like family. As we approach our 10th year together, we are finally able to bring that same vision to South Carolina… which holds an extra special place in my heart as my roots lie in the beautiful Palmetto State.
YOU ASKED. WE ANSWERED.
As a Family Law lawyer, we recognize that life’s events can be complex and intertwined. Our clients’ legal needs rarely stop at their front door with just one issue. Over the years, we’ve always listened to you, our clients, and have added practice areas and offices to address your needs.
As our practice has continued to expand to meet those needs, it quickly became clear that our clients in South Carolina deserved their own convenient location.
The leadership was easy. Sodoma Law attorney Robin Lalley has long demonstrated extraordinary leadership and commitment to the firm, her clients, and her community. She is the past president of the Union County Bar and contributes her leadership to the American Red Cross as a part of their Board of Directors. Robin is also a certified parenting coordinator and collaborative law attorney in the state of North Carolina. All of these qualities, and then some, make Robin an ideal leader for our Sodoma Law York expansion.
ROOTED IN FAMILY.
Having grown up in a small town, and after opening Sodoma Law Union in Monroe, NC, I felt compelled to find the same type of home for Sodoma Law York. If you have ever walked the streets of Main Street in Rock Hill, SC you know what I mean. The storefronts tell stories of history. The courthouse is iconic, and a part of the judicial history of South Carolina. To me, it is a place we are proud to call home.
With the help of warm and friendly locals, the downtown area is without limits for establishing a thriving law practice. And that growth isn’t confined to just Rock Hill either. York County continues to grow exponentially culturally, socially, and economically. It is a desirable location for people who want a sense of community, in both life and work, without the noise of the big city. And, if you want the faster pace of a big city, then Charlotte is just an easy 25 minute drive.
When you drive through York County towns such as Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Clover, and Tega Cay, you see what the meaning of “neighborhood” truly is. From beautifully landscaped lawns and kid-made lemonade stands, to horse farms and farmland as far as the eye can see. Don’t forget the home-grown breweries and local establishments! York County offers endless opportunity and a tight-knit community to everyone who’s lucky enough to call it home.
How could our family-focused and family-driven law firm not be a vital part of this warm welcoming community?
Sodoma Law is rooted in family. York County is rooted in family. As a firm, we have already shown our community support in North Carolina and we are excited to bring that unwavering and tenacious passion to York County and South Carolina. Through our sponsorship of charitable endeavors and hands-on approach to caring for the families we serve, we are dedicated to continuing to make a different in every life we touch.
